Am I desperate if im thinking of using yahoo personals to find someone?

I thought the same thing when I signed up, but this is the 21st Century,I am divorced with 3 kids,.....when am I going to meet anyone, who has the time? So I did it for 6 months, and this is what I discovered. Most women join looking for relationship, most men join to get laid. Men lie, lie, lie, and I have found out some whoppers let me tell you. If I were you I would use a more respectable site,like matchmakers.com, where they take your data and others data and give you the best matches for you. They alsohave a lengthy scrreaming process and encourage people to refrain from actually meeting for quite a while, and there are NO pictures. People get to know you, and it's not a meat market. Yahoo personals was no different than meeting men in a bar,....except these guys were sober and telling lie after lie!!! Good idea, wrong place, spend your money more wisely with a real matching service, not an on-line meat market.
