When should i start to pack my hospital bag? and what should i put in it?

well honey my suggetion is to go ahead and pack get it out of the way because only 5 % have the baby on the actuall due date. So pack and have it by the door. And when you pack I suggest the basics if not then you will probably find that you have alot of stuff that you dont even need or want to even look at because lets face the last thing your wanting to look at is a magazine or playing a game . During this time your looking for any rest that you can muster. So your bag I would suggest undies that you care nothing for Pj's for after the baby comes Definantly Some cozy socks , Plenty of change for snack machines and cash or credit card brush (in which I didnt care for until I almost went home all eyes were on baby didnt care what I looked like,chapstick a must,toothbrush and some strong tootpaste because you will need it after going thru labor and even if you have a c-section whoo that breath will be dragon breath. Shampoo and a good detangler your hair will ba a mess by the time you get around to doing it . A good body wash I used silk ribbons carress it was good. And your camera. For the babies bag lets face it for the first day or so you willnot mind it being in the hospital clothes they give you so pack a coming outfit and a picture outfit a couple of onsies a blanket and some socks for baby and diapers and wipes. And as someone else suggested you will probably be bringing gifts home so an extra bag for that but besides these things you do not want to over pack you will just want the essential because just think you have to take all of this home and un pack then you realize you didnt need half the stuff you packed......
