Just how no life is those who go to med school?

I love science, i know becoming a doctor is not easy feat, takes lots of blood and sweat. But i do believe in work and play balance and in my mind i just see med students as just 24/7 studying and more studying. Should i reconsider going to med school? will i have to sacrifice my social life to become a doctor?
