Visit Golden Gate bridge?

I am visiting San Fran and living in a hotel near Chinatown. I am not renting a car. Is there some public transport to go to the Golden Gate bridge for some photos? Renting a cab would be my last resort since I probably will need it to wait to get me back and so it will be expensive.
