If done right, they will last a very long time. When you first buy them, stand in a shower for 20 min with them. Than a cotton ball, kiwi shoe polish, water, and cotton . well honey my suggetion is to go ahead and pack get it out of the way because only 5 % have the baby on the actuall due date. So pack and have it by the door. And when you pack I suggest the basics if not then you will probably find that you have alot of stuff that you dont even need or want to even look at because lets face the last thing your wanting to look at is a magazine or playing a game . During this time your looking for any rest that you can muster. So your bag I would suggest undies that you care nothing for Pj's for after the baby comes Definantly Some cozy socks , Plenty of change for snack machines and cash or credit card brush (in which I didnt care for until I almost went home all eyes were on baby didnt care what I looked like,chapstick a must,toothbrush and some strong tootpaste because you will need it after going thru labor and even if you have a c-section whoo that breath will be dragon breath. Shampoo and a good detangler your hair will ba a mess by the time you get around to doing it . A good body wash I used silk ribbons carress it was good. And your camera. For the babies bag lets face it for the first day or so you willnot mind it being in the hospital clothes they give you so pack a coming outfit and a picture outfit a couple of onsies a blanket and some socks for baby and diapers and wipes. And as someone else suggested you will probably be bringing gifts home so an extra bag for that but besides these things you do not want to over pack you will just want the essential because just think you have to take all of this home and un pack then you realize you didnt need half the stuff you packed...... I purchased a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo with 118k on it on June 1 from a small car lot. Since my previous truck broke down and I need transportation to work, I had to jump into something QUICKLY! I also never paid taxes on the truck and those are due as well. There was a 30 day warranty, but if the contract isn't signed does it apply? I frequent a particular restaurant all the time. The food and service has always been excellent, i have never had any problems. However, this past weekend, i went with mom to eat there, and my mom found a bug in her penne ala vodka. At first we thought it was possibly a caper, but upon closer inspection, the legs were spotted and we confirmed it was a little bugger. We didn't want to cause a scene and disrupt the other patrons who were dining, so we quietly called the waitress over and showed her what we discovered. The establishment was more than apologetic, trying to give us free coffee and desert (which we politely refused being that our appetites disappeared), and comping the meal. My question is, would you go back after an experience like this? Entertainment helps a lot. Do the kids have any structured activities while they are down there? Has anyone ever talked to them about the rules? Do you have any type of discipline for misbehaviour? I work with elementary schoolers in an afterschool program and have nannied several children since they were born. At the beginning of the school year when the afterschool program starts we always have a talk about rules and expectations and what happens if you are misbehaving. We ask for their opinions on what the rules should be a make a big poster that lists the rules and then have them all sign it. That way all we have to do is point to that poster and ask if they are following all the rules. Keep it a minimum, no big long lists just stuff like: talk with respect, act with respect, ask permission. Talk about consequences, a warning then time out, then you talk to their parents. Have activities that are appropriate for all age groups: colouring, play dough, simple cut and glue, tag, Duck Duck Goose, etc. to keep them busy- a busy child usually behaves much better than a group of bored children. If things get super unruly you blow a whistle and everyone lays their heads down for two minutes while they get lectured at- restrict activities for the rest of the time or have them all clean when they get up. Tell them when they have trouble cleaning up then the next week they will start five minutes earlier and then put their heads down for the remainder of the time. Every few weeks or months have another lesson about rules and consequences. I know it's tough when you have a vast age difference- I used to do daycare/children's group at a domestic violence shelter where we would have kids from infancy to twelve years old.

Last August, I met a really great guy. He was a friend of a friend, and it was a blatant setup on my friend's part. well, i have a minor case of a skin discoloration all over my body. my under-arms, legs, hands, face and basically everywhere. i have white patches. not pale white, but a much lighter color than my natural skin color. well, before i had jus small spots, but after i joined the swim team at my high school, i started noticin that my patches have gotten really worse. my whole stomache is like completely discolored. its gross. my neck, face and everywhere else is also startin to change. should i get off or what?? im not sure if i do infact have VITILIGO, but i do have the symptoms. on my neck is a pale white shade and also my chest and everywhere else. i dont wanna quit, but if its hurtin my skin, should i?? should i wear sunblock from now on??

Tips on consolidating baby naps?

My daughter is 7 months old and she loves to cat nap. I've been trying for 2 months to consolidate her naps. She still naps 4-5 times a day and only sleeps for 30 minutes at best. She's had the same sleeping pattern for the past 2 months - as in she takes naps at the same time, buy they keep getting shorter and shorter!. I try to push back her morning nap to an afternoon nap, but she screams bloody murder. I've even seen her fall asleep while sitting and even while holding onto our couch and standing. Any advice?

This stuff is billed as a non-narcotic, but i can tell you, it is VERY addictive. I simply cannot function without it. I take about 15 50mg pills a day. I absolutely loved both of those books. I liked Catalyst the most even though I cried, but I still think Speak is a good book. I hate how it's written in scrip, however, it does makes the book kind of like a diary which makes it seem more realistic to the reader. A lot of books like Speak that have characters who went through things like that seems so fake, that it was refreshing to see how a 14 year old would take it and how accurate it seemed to be. If you ask me that's probably the reason it's more popular.It might also be because freshman year is when you are more likely to mess up and lose a lot of you friends, so people can easily relate to that.

Recently a routine Police patrol car parked outside a local neighbourhood pub. Late in the evening the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the car park for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on five vehicles. The man managed to find his car, which he fell into. He was there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off (it was a fine dry night). Then flicked the indicators on, then off, tooted the horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few cm, reversed a little and then remained stationary for a few more minutes as some more vehicles left. At last he pulled out of the car park and started to drive slowly down the road. The Police officer, having patiently waited all this time, now started up the patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly pulled the man over and carried out a random breathalyser test. To his amazement the breathalyser indicated no evidence of the man's intoxication. The Police officer said "I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the Police station - this breathalyser equipment must be broken." Being happy and full of life is the other person's job, it's not yours, unless you are co-dependent and get your happiness out of seeing other people happy. I'm sure you can see the huge issue with being like that is and will become. Life is hard and is supposed to be hard. Sometimes tough love is the best way for a person to snap out of the funk they are in. They are in a funk for a reason, and if people continue to bail them out they will never change or grow. It's actually kind of controlling for someone to constantly bail them out, the other person will become dependent on them and will feel resentful because of it. Those people will drain you dry and you will end up like them. Protect your own energy and power and give it when you feel you are able to and that it won't drain you by doing so. You will become more aware of who needs it and deserves it and who doesn't. Be aware of people who always have problems, are always venting or complaining, or are always talking about bad someone else ............these are toxic people that will drain you dry and bring you down. .
